Lisa Snowdon in cheap slacks, dancing

In the course of putting together a soul, funk and disco set for tonight, I found this. I didn't even know I had it. I had clean forgotten which song it actually was. And tonight it will blast out of the speakers for a crowd of hundreds to enjoy.

A quick check back shows it wasn't ever a hit in the UK, and yet the M&S usage has given it an air of joyful familiarity now, to the extent that it's burrowing around the lower reaches of the current singles charts.

It's been a busy old week, so not much else to report. The weekend will be even busier!
